Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 1 ring/s of meat sausage
- 2 sausages, coarse
- some mustard, hot or medium hot
- 6 slices of bacon

Peel the sausage and slice it lengthwise. Squeeze the sausage meat out of the casing and divide it between the two sausage halves. Brush the sausage with mustard and wrap it in bacon slices. Bake the whole thing in the oven at 150°C on the middle rack for about 30 minutes, until the bacon is crispy and the sausage meat is cooked through. Alternatively, you can grill it outside in summer, wrapped in aluminum foil. The sausage will be quite substantial, so it’s perfect for a guys’ night out, served with bread rolls and various barbecue sauces. Or on a sausage platter at a party, it’s definitely an eye-catcher.
