Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 600 g minced meat, mixed or beef
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp mustard, possibly more
  • 50 g breadcrumbs or breadcrumbs, possibly more
  • 2 tsp parsley, dried
  • 150 g bacon or ham, diced
  • 1 shot of Maggi or two shots
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Butter, clarified butter or oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel the onion, finely dice, and sauté in butter until translucent. Let cool slightly and mix into the minced meat. Knead the egg, mustard, breadcrumbs, parsley, garlic, and bacon cubes into the minced meat mixture. Season with Maggi, pepper, and salt. If desired, add a little Worcestershire sauce. Form into balls and flatten slightly. Heat clarified butter, oil, or oil with butter in a pan. Fry the meatballs slowly over medium heat until crispy on both sides.
