Herb cream cheese butter

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 100 g butter, room temperature
  • 100 g double cream cheese
  • 1 bunch of chives
  • 1 bunch of garden cress
  • 1 tsp sea salt, coarse

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Peel the garlic and finely crush it in a mortar with 1 teaspoon of coarse sea salt. Then add it to a mixing bowl with the room-temperature butter. Blend with a food processor or the whisk of a hand mixer for about 5 minutes until very creamy. Gradually stir in the cream cheese. Finely chop the chives and add the cress from the garden bed to the butter mixture and stir in. Finally, season with pepper and salt, if desired. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Delicious with a barbecue or raclette.
