Carrot-celery salt

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 130 g carrot(s)
  • 110 g celeriac
  • 20 g coarse-grained sea salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 55 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Preheat oven to 100 degrees Celsius (212 degrees Fahrenheit) fan-assisted. Peel and chop the carrots and celery, and place them in a food processor. Spread everything on a baking sheet and place in the oven on the middle rack for 15 minutes. Then let it dry for another 40 minutes at 80 degrees Celsius (176 degrees Fahrenheit). Turn it over occasionally. Wedge a wooden spoon in the door. This yields approximately 30 g of dried vegetables. Grind with 20 g of sea salt in a coffee grinder and enjoy the wonderfully fragrant, orange-colored salt.
