Gratinated casserole with potatoes, carrots, pointed peppers and pork strips

Heat the fat in a pan over medium heat, briefly fry the strips all over, season, and set aside on a plate. Grease the baking dish and preheat the oven to 180 degrees top/bottom heat. Peel the potatoes, slice them very finely, arrange them in the baking dish, and season with a little salt, pepper, and paprika. Peel the shallot, slice them, then dice them very finely and sprinkle them over the seasoned potatoes in the dish. Peel the carrot, finely slice them, and add them to the dish. Quarter the pointed peppers, remove the seeds, cut them into very fine strips, and add them to the dish. If you like it juicier, sprinkle a few flakes of sour cream on the vegetables. Distribute the fried strips over the vegetables. Place the cheese slices on top and cook in the oven on the middle rack for about 20-25 minutes. Cooking times may vary depending on the oven.
