Smoked herb shrimp skewers

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 10 shrimp(s), fresh or frozen, peeled, deveined
  • 1 clove(s) garlic, squeezed
  • 1 tbsp Italian herbs (sage, thyme, marjoram, oregano, rosemary), fresh
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • n. B. Smoking flour (beech shavings)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 10 minutes

If necessary, thaw the shrimp and pat dry. Peel them if not yet peeled. Wash and chop the herbs. Mix the crushed garlic, chopped herbs, and oil and brush over the shrimp. Season with salt and pepper. Arrange the shrimp on two wooden skewers. Heat the smoker with the wood chips to 80°C. Smoke the shrimp for 2 hours, until they have a nice brown color.
