Tortellini in tomato sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 onion(s)
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 250 g mushrooms
  • 3 slice(s) ham, cooked
  • 1 tsp tomato paste
  • 500 g tomatoes, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, from the mill
  • some oregano
  • possibly vegetable broth, instant
  • 1 pack of tortellini with meat filling, fresh or dried
  • some basil

Dice the onion and garlic, slice the mushrooms, and thinly slice the cooked ham. Sauté the diced onion and garlic in oil until the onions are translucent. Then add the mushrooms and ham strips and fry for another 2-3 minutes. Add the tomato paste and sauté everything. Add the tomatoes, bring to a boil, and season with all the spices. Simmer everything for about 10-15 minutes. Meanwhile, cook the tortellini in plenty of salted water according to the package instructions. If desired, add more vegetable stock to the sauce. Drain the finished tortellini and serve with the sauce.
