Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 700 ml water
  • 1 tbsp nutmeg, ground
  • 2 ½ tbsp cinnamon, ground
  • 2 tsp clove powder
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 3 tbsp puree (pumpkin puree)
  • 1 tsp vanilla, ground
  • 300 g raw cane sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Simmer gently for at least 30 minutes, stirring frequently, until the syrup reaches the desired consistency. Strain the syrup through a very fine sieve and pour into a sterile bottle.
