Spicy rice pan

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g pork
  • 500 g broccoli, fresh or frozen
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 small chili pepper(s), red
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 400 g tomatoes, pureed
  • 50 ml vegetable stock
  • salt and pepper
  • 200 g rice (long grain rice)
  • chili powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Cut the pork into small pieces, cut the broccoli into small florets (use frozen broccoli if you’re in a hurry). Dice the onion and crush the garlic. Deseed the chili pepper and slice it into fine rings. Heat the oil in a pan and sear the meat pieces, then briefly fry the broccoli, onions, and garlic. Deglaze with the passata and vegetable stock and season with chili cubes, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, cook the rice. Add the rice to the pan and season again with salt and pepper.
