Vegetable rice with ham and cheese

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 slices ham, cut into small pieces
  • ½ slice(s) cheese, cut into small pieces
  • 1 carrot(s)
  • ¼ stalk(s) leek
  • 500 ml water
  • ½ onion(s)
  • ¼ bell pepper(s)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch(s) of pepper
  • 2 tsp vegetable broth, instant
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel the vegetables and cut into bite-sized pieces. Sauté briefly in butter. Then deglaze with water. Add rice, salt, pepper, and vegetable stock. Cook for about 20 minutes, until the rice is tender. Then add the ham and cheese.
