Vegetable – Ham – Cheese Sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 g mixed vegetables (also frozen)
  • 100 g ham (e.g. smoked farmer’s ham)
  • 125 g sour cream
  • 125 g crème fraîche with garlic
  • 50 g cheese (I prefer Irish), grated (e.g. red Cheddar)
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • olive oil
  • n. B. garlic

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cut the thinly sliced ​​ham into small squares and fry in a little olive oil. Add the (frozen) vegetables and let the water evaporate. Add the sour cream and crême fraîche with garlic and let it melt. Finally, add the grated cheese and season with salt, pepper, and garlic, if desired. Serve the sauce with pasta or, preferably, with Manu’s ham pancakes (see the recipe of the same name).
