Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g minced meat
- 250 g rice
- 1 m.-sized egg(s)
- Breadcrumbs
- salt and pepper
- nutmeg
- Maggi
- Oil, for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes
Cook the rice and let it cool. Then add the minced meat to the cold rice, mix well with the egg, breadcrumbs, and seasonings. Form the mixture into meatballs and fry them thoroughly in a pan. Be careful, the rice may bounce a bit in the pan! If the mixture is still too loose, you can add more breadcrumbs. Any type of salad goes well with this.
