Pear Carpaccio

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 bulb(s)
  • 1 apple
  • 1 carrot(s)
  • 100 g Camembert(s), approx.
  • 4 slices of mild cheese
  • 150 g yogurt
  • 100 g sour cream
  • ½ lemon(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • salt and pepper

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

as a starter or small dinner

Peel the pears, apple, and carrot and slice them into wafer-thin slices – this is best done with a bread slicer. Arrange them fan-shaped on a platter. Slice the Camembert as well. Spread it on top of the fruit along with the cheese. Mix together a marinade of yogurt, sour cream, lemon juice, the crushed garlic clove, and the spices. Spread it over the carpaccio and sprinkle with freshly ground pepper. Serve with French white bread. Serve as an appetizer for 4, or as a small meal for 2.
