Cheese salad

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g cheese (mild Emmental)
  • 150 g grapes, blue (white ones are fine too, of course)
  • 30 g walnuts, whole
  • 2 apples
  • 1 red bell pepper(s), cut into strips, if you like
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 5 tbsp honey (flower honey)
  • 1 tbsp vinegar (apple or table vinegar)
  • Pinch(s) of sea salt, to taste

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cut the cheese into bite-sized cubes. Halve and core the grapes. Core the apples and cut them into bite-sized pieces. Combine the cheese, grapes, apples, nuts, and bell peppers (if desired) in a bowl. For the dressing, whisk the sour cream and honey until smooth. Then add the vinegar and sea salt and drizzle over the salad. All I can say is, it’s incredibly good and truly refreshing.
