Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 50 g sugar
  • 50 ml balsamic vinegar
  • 500 g strawberries, ripe, halved
  • 2 tbsp basil, cut into fine strips
  • 4 tbsp almond flakes, roasted in a pan without fat; alternatively: chopped almonds
  • 100 g mascarpone
  • 4 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Boil the sugar in 50ml of water until syrupy, remove from the heat, and stir in the balsamic vinegar. Add the basil and roasted almonds to the strawberries and mix with the vinegar syrup. Whisk the mascarpone with the milk until smooth, season with honey, and serve with the strawberry salad. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
