Strawberry muffins

Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 200 g strawberries
  • 280 g flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • some baking soda
  • Salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 100 g butter
  • 150 g yogurt
  • 100 g sour cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Preheat the oven to 175°C. Line the muffin tin with paper baking cups. Wash, hull, and dice the strawberries. In a bowl, combine the flour with the baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Fold the strawberries into the flour. Melt the butter in a small saucepan and set aside. Beat the eggs in a bowl with the sugar and vanilla sugar. Stir the cooled butter into the egg mixture. Stir in the yogurt and sour cream until well blended. Add the flour mixture with the strawberry pieces to the egg mixture and mix well until a thick batter forms. Pour the batter into the muffin tins and bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Dust with powdered sugar, if desired.
