Ingredients for 4 servings:
- ½ liter of milk
- 70 g coffee beans
- 1 pkt. gelatin
- 2 tbsp vanilla sugar
- ½ liter cream
- 12 pieces of coffee beans made of chocolate
- a little chocolate, possibly with orange peel for coating
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
(also suitable as a cake filling)
Soak the gelatin. Briefly boil the milk with the coffee beans, then let it steep for a maximum of 8 minutes, depending on your taste (you can also crush the coffee beans briefly in a mortar; this way, they don’t need to steep as long). Add the sugar. Stir the soaked gelatin into the hot milk and refrigerate to cool. Whip the cream and fold it into the set cream. Let it cool, lightly cover with melted chocolate, and decorate with the chocolate-coffee beans. Orange peel or orange liqueur (Cointreau) is a good flavoring. You’ll be amazed at how well coffee and orange go together.
