Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 turkey schnitzels (can also be frozen)
- 2 cups rice
- 4 cups water
- 1 pack of vegetables (buttered vegetables, frozen)
- 1 pack of sauce, light
- 1 cup of cream
- salt and pepper
- possibly broth for the rice
- Paprika powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Cook the rice in water as usual. I always add a little broth, so the rice doesn’t taste so bland. Meanwhile, brown the turkey in a deep-sided pan. When the turkey is cooked through, remove it from the pan and prepare the gravy according to the instructions. Next, add the cup of cream and the frozen vegetables and wait until the vegetables are cooked. Then add the turkey and rice and simmer everything for about another 10 minutes, until the gravy has reduced somewhat.
