Celery schnitzel Viennese style

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 celeriac
  • 2 tbsp vegetable broth
  • Water
  • some soy flour
  • some breadcrumbs
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

breaded celery schnitzel, vegan, without egg

Peel the celery, cut into approximately 8 mm thick slices, and cook in strong vegetable broth for 4-6 minutes. Mix the soy flour and a little of the vegetable broth into a thick, sticky paste and cover the schnitzels with it. Coat the schnitzels in the breadcrumbs and then fry in plenty of oil.
