Ingredients for 1 servings:
- ½ tsp fenugreek
- 2 tsp paprika powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp bay leaf, ground
- 1 tsp mustard powder
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 tsp marjoram
- 1 tsp rosemary
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes
e.g. for Moroccan lamb kofte; made from ground ingredients
Add the individual spices spoonful by spoonful into a clean screw-top jar and mix. You can do this either with a spoon or screw on the lid and shake vigorously. This spice is enough for 5-8 uses. Tip: Mustard flour is available in Arab or Turkish shops. If you can’t find any, simply grind the appropriate amount of mustard seeds in a mortar. Do the same with fenugreek. For bay leaves, I would only use one leaf and grind it.
