Quick puff pastry pinwheels

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 pkt. puff pastry (fresh counter)
  • ½ jar jam (preferably strawberry)
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cut the puff pastry into squares and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Place 1 tablespoon of jam in the center of each square. Now cut into the corners of the square, all the way to the jam, and then fold the outer corners toward the center. This creates the pinwheels. Bake the pinwheels for about 10-15 minutes in a preheated oven at 200°C (or follow the package instructions) (varies depending on the oven). Dust with powdered sugar immediately after baking. This creates a thin, sweet glaze. We like to eat the pinwheels while they’re still lukewarm.
