Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 pork loin(s), approx. 500 – 600 g
  • some olive oil
  • e.g. salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 16 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 1 minute

easy and fast

The loin should be at room temperature, which shortens the grilling time. Remove any silver skin, tendon, etc. Brush the loin all over with olive oil, then season with salt and pepper, and let it rest for another 30 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat the grill to 200 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit) over direct heat. Grill the loin for 4 minutes and turn it over. Grill for 4 minutes on each side; the total grilling time is 16 minutes. Then, cover and let it rest for 5 minutes, covered in aluminum foil. The meat will be super tender and very juicy. If the loin is a little shorter but a bit thicker, the cooking time can be increased to 4.5 minutes per side. Serve with any of the usual salads. An alternative to the usual steaks and sausages.
