Stuffed pepper minced steaks

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 pieces of bratwurst, coarse (braised sausage)
  • 65 g cheese, in one piece (Gouda)
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 1 small red bell pepper(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cut the Gouda into small cubes. Clean and deseed the bell pepper, and also cut it into fine cubes. Squeeze the sausage meat out of the skin and mix well with the bell pepper cubes. Form 4 hamburgers. Fill the hamburgers with cheese cubes and tightly seal the meat mixture. Place two slices of bacon in a cross shape around each hamburger and press down. Grill, turning frequently. It also tastes delicious pan-fried.
