Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

aperitif

Pluck mint leaves and divide them among 6 glasses. Add 1 teaspoon of sugar and 1 teaspoon of cold water to each. Crush the mint leaves with a wooden muddler. Half-fill the glasses with crushed ice. Mix the gin and juice, pour over the glass. Garnish with mint, if desired, and serve immediately. Tip: If you can’t find or don’t like pomegranate juice, you can substitute redcurrant juice. Since mint has a very intense flavor, please use it sparingly. One leaf per glass may be enough for a slightly minty taste.
