Cinnamon Apple Cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g butter
  • 250 g sugar
  • 250 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 100 g walnuts, chopped
  • 100 g ground almonds
  • 6 apples, peeled and cut into small pieces
  • some milk
  • Powdered sugar as desired

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Cream the butter until fluffy, then add the sugar, then add the eggs one at a time. Sift the flour with the baking powder and add a spoonful at a time. Stir in the cocoa, cinnamon, and vanilla sugar. If the batter is too stiff, add a little milk (maximum 3 tablespoons). Then mix in the almonds and walnuts and fold in the apples. Grease a springform pan, dust with breadcrumbs, pour in the batter, and smooth it down well. Tap the batter under the cake with the palm of your hand to ensure it is evenly distributed. Bake the cake for about 60 minutes. If you like, sprinkle it with powdered sugar after it has cooled.
