Green asparagus salad with shrimp and sesame

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g asparagus, green, ready to cook
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 4 cm ginger root, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 pepper, chopped red
  • 200 g shrimp(s)
  • 1 tbsp oil (sesame oil)
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 lime(s), the juice
  • 1 lime(s), sliced

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Blanch the asparagus in hot water for about 2 minutes. Then drain. Add the shrimp to the same water and cook for about 7 minutes. Then drain. Heat sunflower oil in a wok and sauté the grated ginger and asparagus for about 1 minute. Then add the chopped chili pepper, garlic, and shrimp and sauté for another 5 minutes, stirring. Add the sesame oil, sesame seeds, and lime juice and stir to combine. Serve immediately garnished with lime slices.
