Puff pastry snails

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 slices of cheese (varietal of your choice)
  • 8 slices of salami
  • 8 slice(s) ham or bacon
  • 1 package of puff pastry, frozen

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Thaw the puff pastry, remove each piece individually, and roll it out a little with a rolling pin. Once the dough is rolled out, take one or two slices of cheese, for example, and roll them up with the puff pastry. Then do the same with the salami and ham. Once all the ingredients are used, take each roll and cut them into slices, about 1-1.5 cm thick. This will look like a snail shell. Place all the slices on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake at 150°C until golden brown (preheat oven). Then let them cool and serve as finger food. It also tastes great with a beer or just in front of the TV. My guests can never get enough of it.
