Spinach sauce for pasta

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g creamed spinach, may be thawed
  • 125 g ham, diced, smoked
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 200 g processed cheese
  • 300 g spaghetti or spirelli
  • some oil for frying
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

without garlic, cream, broth, milk, flour, cooked ham

Cook the pasta in salted water as usual. Peel and dice the onion, then sauté it with the diced ham in a little oil. Add the spinach and cook at low heat until thawed (spinach can be thawed beforehand; it will shorten the cooking time considerably). Finally, add the bowl of processed cheese to the spinach, let it melt, and season to taste. You can add a little more pepper, but be careful with the salt, as the ham is already salty.
