Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

First cut the meat into strips and while heating, heat the oil in a pan. Then fry the meat until well-tendered in the oil. In the meantime, chop the bell peppers and onions and drain the mushrooms well. When the meat is cooked through, add the onions and mushrooms and fry them. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and paprika. Then add the chopped bell peppers and fry them briefly. Deglaze with the stock and bring to a boil briefly. Chop the cheese wedges and melt them in the stock, then add the cream. Let everything simmer for about 30 minutes on the lowest heat, stirring occasionally. Finally, season to taste with herbs (e.g. parsley, marjoram, etc.) and a little garlic powder and thicken with a little light sauce thickener. Rice or spaetzle go best with this.
