Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 jar Pepper Grigliati (280g / Grilled peppers with garlic)
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 250 g minced meat, mixed
  • salt and pepper
  • 150 g rice (long grain rice)
  • 2 tsp vegetable broth
  • 1 stalk(s) leek (medium)
  • 100 g feta cheese

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Drain the peppers and garlic in a sieve (reserving the oil) and then finely chop everything. Peel and finely dice the onion. Heat 3 tablespoons of the reserved oil in a pan. Brown the minced meat for about 3 minutes. Add the onions and garlic and fry briefly. Season with salt and pepper. Add the rice and peppers and sauté briefly. Pour in 300ml of water, stir in the stock, bring everything to a boil and cook for about 12 minutes. In the meantime, trim and wash the leeks, chop them finely and stir them into the mixture. Cover and cook for about 8 minutes. Season again to taste and finally crumble the cheese over the top.
