Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g chestnuts, pureed
  • 150 g almonds
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 10 drops of rum flavoring
  • 80 ml water
  • n. B. Chocolate shavings
  • possibly instant coffee powder
  • possibly chocolate, melted

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 35 minutes

Boil water with sugar and vanilla sugar until the sugar dissolves. Add rum flavoring. Stir in the almonds and then the chestnut puree. Stir everything until smooth. Let cool. With cold hands, form into small balls (approx. 15 g) and roll in the chocolate shavings. If desired, you can also add instant coffee or melted chocolate to the mixture. The pralines can also be rolled in melted chocolate instead of chocolate shavings.
