Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 6 m.-sized potatoes
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 egg(s)
  • salt and pepper
  • possibly nutmeg
  • n. B. Fat for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel the potatoes and grate one half coarsely and the other half finely. Drain half of the juice. Grate the onions finely. Season with salt (a little more than you think) and pepper. You can also add nutmeg if desired. Add the egg and, if needed, more flour and mix well. Heat a pan with a fairly large amount of fat until very hot. Spoon the mixture into the pan and fry until golden brown on both sides. Applesauce or a well-dressed leaf salad goes well with this.
