Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 pork chops
- pepper
- 5 tbsp butter
- 2 bell peppers, green and red
- 1 small cauliflower
- 1 kg potatoes, boiled
- 250 ml milk
- 3 eggs
- salt and pepper
- Paprika powder
- nutmeg
- 2 tbsp cheese (Allgäu), grated
Instructions
Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
Pepper the chops on both sides. Heat 2 tablespoons of butter and fry the chops for 6 minutes on each side. Remove and keep warm. Cut the peppers into strips and cook for about 10 minutes. Divide the cauliflower into individual florets and cook for another 10 minutes. Slice the cooked potatoes. Grease a baking dish with butter and line the bottom with potato slices. Add the vegetables and the remaining potatoes. Place the chops on top. Whisk the milk and eggs, season with spices, and pour over the drain. Sprinkle with cheese. Sprinkle the remaining butter on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 15 minutes.
