Hearty ham bundt cake

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 25 g yeast, fresh or
  • 1 bag(s) of yeast (dry yeast)
  • 50 g butter
  • 15 g sugar
  • ½ jar milk
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 100 g smoked ham (Katenschinken), diced
  • Butter for the mold
  • Breadcrumbs for the form

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Make a yeast dough from the ingredients and fold in the ham cubes at the end. Butter a Bundt pan well, sprinkle with breadcrumbs, pour the dough into the pan, cover, and let rise for about 90 minutes, until it reaches the edges of the pan. Then bake at 200°C for about 30-40 minutes. Turn out onto a wire rack while still warm. Delicious hot or cold.
