Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 700 g minced beef
- 3 tbsp butter, for frying
- 3 onions, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove(s) (squeezed)
- 8 leaves of sage (chopped)
- 3 ½ dl red wine
- 1 dl meat broth, strong
- 2 tbsp tomato puree
- 1 bunch of flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped
- Salt
- pepper, black
- 500 g pasta (horn pasta)
- applesauce
Instructions

Brown the ground beef in hot butter, stirring occasionally, until crumbly and almost cooked through. Add the onions, garlic, and sage and fry briefly. Deglaze with red wine and broth. Add the tomato puree and cook over medium heat for about 20 minutes. Add the parsley and season generously with salt and pepper. Keep warm until ready to serve. Cook the pasta shells in boiling salted water according to the package instructions until “al dente.” Drain well, toss with melted butter, and arrange in deep plates. Spoon the meat sauce over the meat and serve with applesauce.
