Potato salad for the winter season

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 8 rollmops
  • 5 gherkins
  • 200 g mayonnaise, semi-skimmed
  • 3 tbsp mustard, hot
  • salt and pepper
  • Vinegar
  • oil
  • some sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 4 hours; Total time approx. 4 hours 20 minutes

Boil the potatoes, peel them once cooled, and slice them. Cut the rollmops into small pieces, along with the cabbage (from the rollmops), finely chop the gherkins, and mix everything together. Prepare a marinade with salt, sugar, pepper, vinegar, oil, mustard, and mayonnaise. Mix everything well and let it marinate for a few hours.
