Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 500 g runner beans
  • 150 ml milk
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • savory
  • Salt and pepper, black, freshly ground
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

delicious side dish to pan-fried dishes

Peel the potatoes, roughly dice them, and boil them in salted water for 20 minutes. Cut the green beans into thin strips, boil them in salted water for 6 minutes, then rinse and drain. Drain the potatoes and let them steam off. Heat the milk and butter in a saucepan. Add the potatoes and roughly mash. Add the beans and savory and stir in. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
