wrapped in crispy bacon and marinated
In the morning or the day before: Mix the ingredients for the marinade well. Wash the pork fillet, dry it, and cut it into 2 cm thick pieces. Marinate for at least 5 hours, preferably overnight. Before grilling: Soak the shish kebab skewers in water. Heat up the grill. Cut the onions into eighths. Wash the zucchini. Slice the zucchini lengthwise using a vegetable peeler. Take a slice of bacon and wrap each piece of meat in it so that the bacon forms a border around the fillet, but the fillet is visible in the middle. Now alternate onions, wrapped fillet pieces, and zucchini on skewers, either wavy or rolled. Fry the skewers on the hot grill until golden brown on both sides and serve with a fruity barbecue sauce or tzatziki sauce. This also goes well with jacket potatoes, which can be finished cooking on the grill, or with baguette. You can also add peppers or mushrooms marinated briefly in oil and garlic to make it even more colorful.
