Minced meat and rice pan with curry, chickpeas and raisins

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 100 g basmati rice
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red
  • 300 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 can chickpeas, 400 g
  • 1 large onion(s), red
  • 2 tbsp curry powder
  • 1 handful of raisins
  • e.g. cayenne pepper
  • e.g. chili flakes
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • some oil for frying
  • 200 ml natural yogurt, stirred until creamy

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Quick to prepare and super tasty!

Cook the rice in salted water according to the package instructions. Dice the peeled and deseeded bell peppers and onions. Chop the garlic. Fry the minced meat in a pan or wok in oil until browned and crumbly. Add the bell peppers, onions, garlic, and raisins. Season generously with curry powder, salt, and pepper. Add cayenne pepper and chili flakes to taste. Stir in the rice and add the chickpeas. Chop the parsley and stir in. Season the yogurt with salt and pepper and serve as a dip with the finished dish.
