Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 2 turkey schnitzels
- 2 balls of mozzarella
- 2 tomatoes
- some olive oil
- 500 g gnocchi, from the refrigerated section
- 200 g crème fraîche
- 1 small bunch of basil
- some salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Brown the turkey cutlets in a pan with a little oil for 3-4 minutes. In the meantime, slice the mozzarella and tomatoes. Add a little olive oil to a baking dish, place the cooked turkey cutlets in the dish, and season lightly with salt and pepper. Arrange the tomato and mozzarella slices on top. Sprinkle with pepper and basil. Bake in the oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 10-15 minutes. Add the gnocchi to boiling salted water, add a little olive oil, and cook for 3 minutes. Add the crème fraîche to the frying pan and simmer gently. Dice the remaining mozzarella and melt it in the water. Season with salt and pepper. Finely chop the fresh basil and add it to the sauce. Drain the cooked gnocchi and mix it with the sauce.
