Turkey steaks with tomato and feta crust and croquettes

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 steak(s) (turkey steaks)
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 pack of sheep’s cheese
  • 1 jar pesto, green
  • salt and pepper
  • n. B. Croquettes

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Season the turkey steaks with salt and pepper and fry briefly in a pan. In the meantime, dice the feta cheese and tomatoes. Place the turkey steaks in a baking dish and spread with the green pesto. Spread the pesto more or less thickly depending on how strong you want the pesto to be. Sprinkle the tomato and feta cheese cubes over the turkey steaks. Bake the whole thing in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes. In the meantime, finish cooking the croquettes in the deep fryer or in the oven. Serve immediately.
