Pasta salad for the girls

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g pasta, spiral pasta or fusilli or whatever
  • ½ ring/s of meat sausage
  • 1 can/n peas
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 tbsp Miracle Whip
  • 1 cup of natural yogurt
  • ½ tsp mustard
  • chives
  • Parsley
  • curry
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

My husband asked me to make something for the girls in his office for his birthday. But it had to be something “light,” as they were worried about their weight. Here’s the recipe: Cook the pasta al dente. Hard-boil the eggs, or rather, I prefer them medium (about 7-8 minutes depending on the size). In the meantime, you can cut the sausage into small pieces, as well as the tomatoes. If desired, you can also add a small onion – chop this as well. Then mix 3 tablespoons (large) of Miracle Whip with a cup of yogurt – this works best with a whisk. Stir in the mustard, season with curry, pepper, and salt. The pasta should be done by now. Rinse it thoroughly and, if necessary, let it cool briefly in cold water. Rinse the eggs thoroughly and, if necessary, place them in cold water. Chop the eggs and add them to the remaining ingredients. Then carefully mix the pasta, other ingredients, and sauce (this works best in a large bowl). Finally, stir in the chopped herbs. Transfer to another bowl. Garnish. Done.
