Vegetables: Marinated Paprika Vegetables from Wok

The perfect vegetables: marinated paprika vegetables from wok recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 600 g Red pointed peppers
  • 2 piece Fresh onions
  • 2 piece Garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper from the mill
  • 1 teaspoon Sweet paprika powder
  • 50 ml Extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon Hoi Sin Sauce / Soy Sauce
  • 1 Knife point Red chilli flakes
  • 0,5 teaspoon Salt
  1. Remove the sperm and seeds from the peppers and cut into bite-sized pieces. Peel the onions and garlic. Cut the onion into quarter rings, coarsely chop the garlic.
  2. Mix the whole vegetables with pepper, paprika powder, chilli flakes, half of the oil and the Hoi Sin sauce, cover and let steep for about 2 hours.
  3. Heat the remaining oil in a wok and roast the vegetables in it until the liquid has evaporated and the vegetables are cooked through. A little water can possibly be added.
  4. Season to taste with salt and serve as a side dish on preheated plates. Polenta (whole food: my favorite polenta) and naturally fried chicken schnitzel were served here.
