Lovely Salmon with Sour Rice

The perfect lovely salmon with sour rice recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • Lemon zest
  • 60 g Butter
  • 500 g Wild rice
  • 750 ml Water warm
  • 4 Pc. Bay leaves
  • 2 tsp Turmeric
  • 5 Pc. Salmon fillet
  • 5 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 2 Bd Spring onions
  • 500 g Tomatoes
  • 100 g Butter
  • 30 g Herbs of Provence
  • 0,5 Pc. Clove of garlic
  • Salt and pepper
  • 5 tbsp Raspberry Cayenne Mustard

For the rice:

  1. Put the water, butter, wild rice, turmeric, bay leaves, lemon peel and spices in a rice cooker. Let everything cook for about 20 minutes according to the instructions of the rice cooker.

For the herb butter:

  1. Mix the butter, herbs and garlic well with a mixer.

For the salmon:

  1. Wash the salmon, season with plenty of salt, pepper, season with lemon juice and spread on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Cut the tomatoes and spring onions into small pieces, spread both with the herb butter on the salmon and season again. Cook at 200 degrees in a preheated oven for at least 20 minutes on top and bottom heat.
  2. Arrange the salmon and rice nicely on a plate and drizzle the salmon with a good spoonful of mustard.
