Vegetables: Marinated Paprika Vegetables from Wok
The perfect vegetables: marinated paprika vegetables from wok recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 600 g Red pointed peppers
- 2 piece Fresh onions
- 2 piece Garlic cloves
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper from the mill
- 1 teaspoon Sweet paprika powder
- 50 ml Extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoon Hoi Sin Sauce / Soy Sauce
- 1 Knife point Red chilli flakes
- 0,5 teaspoon Salt
- Remove the sperm and seeds from the peppers and cut into bite-sized pieces. Peel the onions and garlic. Cut the onion into quarter rings, coarsely chop the garlic.
- Mix the whole vegetables with pepper, paprika powder, chilli flakes, half of the oil and the Hoi Sin sauce, cover and let steep for about 2 hours.
- Heat the remaining oil in a wok and roast the vegetables in it until the liquid has evaporated and the vegetables are cooked through. A little water can possibly be added.
- Season to taste with salt and serve as a side dish on preheated plates. Polenta (whole food: my favorite polenta) and naturally fried chicken schnitzel were served here.
