Cheesecake with Fruit Groats

The perfect cheesecake with fruit groats recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • For the dough:
  • 200 g Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 100 g Cold butter
  • For the filling:
  • 125 g Soft butter
  • 250 g Sugar
  • 4 Eggs
  • 50 g Flour
  • 1 packet Vanilla pudding
  • 750 g Curd cheese 20%
  • 3 tablespoon Milk 3.8
  • For covering:
  • 500 g Fruit groats
  • 1 packet Red cake topping
  1. Mix the flour with the baking powder and make a shortcrust pastry with the remaining ingredients. Shape the dough into a ball, wrap in foil and place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, stir the butter, eggs, flour, sugar and vanilla pudding until creamy. Add the milk and quark and stir everything well.
  3. Pour the dough into the prepared springform pan and raise a high rim. Pour in the quark mass and smooth it out.
  4. Place the cake in the oven preheated to 180 degrees upper and lower heat and bake for approx. 65 – 70 minutes. If the surface gets too dark, cover the last 15 minutes with aluminum foil. After the baking time, let the cake cool in the oven for 30 minutes with the door slightly open. Then take it out of the oven, remove the edge of the springform pan and let the cake cool.
  5. Spread the fruit grits on the cooled cake. Make the icing in a saucepan according to the instructions, spread the grits over the fruit and let it set.
