The perfect schlemmer – zurich style casserole recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 400 g Pork strips
  • 400 g Sliced mushrooms
  • 2 Pc. Chopped onions
  • 1 toe Chopped garlic
  • Salt, pepper, paprika, nutmeg
  • Curry, thyme
  • 1 tbsp Mustard
  • 1 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 250 ml Rama Cremefine 15%
  • 2 Btl Knorrfix for shredded meat
  • 4 Sliced tomatoes
  • Water
  • Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Rama Culiness
  1. Fry the meat in hot fat. Add half of the onion cubes. Then season with mustard, tomato paste, salt, pepper, paprika and curry. Let everything roast a little.
  2. Now dissolve the meat mixture with a little water and reduce it again until a creamy sauce mixture forms. Repeat this process 2 more times. This takes about 15 minutes.
  3. Mix a bag of Knorrfix with 250 ml. Water and add to the meat. Bring to the boil briefly and add about 100ml. Add Cremefine. Simmer the sauce over low heat until it has a creamy consistency. Then pour the strips into a baking dish.
  4. Now distribute the tomato slices on the meat.
  5. Briefly sweat the mushrooms with the remaining onion cubes in hot fat. Cover with salt, pepper, thyme and a little nutmeg and let simmer for about 5 minutes. Add the lemon juice to taste (approx. 1 tsp.)
  6. In the meantime, mix the 2nd bag of Knorrfix with 250 ml of water and pour over the mushrooms. Bring to the boil and pour the rest of the Cremefine on top. Possibly Thicken lightly with a sauce thickener.
  7. Now pour the mushroom sauce over the tomatoes.
  8. This goes well with spaetzle and a fresh salad.
  9. For the recipe, I used the finished products to get a bigger amount of sauce. So it doesn’t have to be taken over with it.
