Chicken Breast on Brown Mushrooms
The perfect chicken breast on brown mushrooms recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 package Brown mushrooms
- 2 Chicken breasts
- White wine
- Beef broth or other
- Rosemary and thyme, curry, paprika
- 1 half Clove of garlic
- 3 Pinches Sugar
- 2 Splash Verjuice or lemon
- 1 small Onion
- Season the meat with pepper and salt and fry in the pan with butter, garlic and the herbs. I took fresh herbs and later briefly put them and the garlic in the sauce and removed them again.
- Take out the meat. Fry the onions with the mushrooms in the same pan and season with curry and paprika powder, pepper and salt and a pinch of sugar. Then gradually deglaze with white wine and let it simmer again and again, add some cream and simmer again.
- If you like, add a dash of lemon. I took verjuice, which is the juice from unripe grapes and not quite as acidic as lemon or vinegar.
- I sprinkled some chili powder on the meat.
