Crunchy Waffles

The perfect crunchy waffles recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 g Butter
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 4 middle Free range eggs
  • 350 g Spelled flour type 630
  • 1 tbsp Rum (doesn’t have to be)
  • 1 Eßl Vanilla sugar
  • 0,5 packet Baking powder
  • 0,5 packet Water
  1. The butter should be room temperature.
  2. Then stir all the ingredients together so that no lumps are formed. Add enough water so that the dough is not so thick.
  3. Please only with water, not with milk.
  4. Put it in the waffle iron and, depending on the degree of browning, remove it or leave it in the waffle iron. Dust with powdered sugar. And then enjoy.
