Lemon Curd Ice Cream

The perfect lemon curd ice cream recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 400 ml Milk
  • 200 ml Cream
  • 300 g Lemon curd
  • 60 g Sugar
  • 40 g Ice base powder
  1. The recipe for the lemon curd cream can be found in my KB. It stays in the supermarket, but it is also easy to make yourself and a super tasty spread that is also versatile and can be used for other purposes.
  2. This ice cream is also made without an egg (except for what the lemon curd cream contains). You can get the basic powder on the Internet and you don’t have to use tons of eggs. It’s quick and very refreshing.
  3. All ingredients are mixed in a saucepan and then heated to 65 °. When the mass has cooled down (stir it every now and then), either pour it into a cold-proof container and place it in the freezer. In this case, however, the mass must be stirred every hour. This has to be done so often and until the ice cream has a creamy consistency and there are no coarse ice crystals in it.
  4. When preparing with an ice cream machine, follow the instructions for use.
